In a leadership scenario, when facing two equally bad options (for example, delivering a product with code that that does not follow clean standards), how would I decide, stick to my principles and stop the release, or choose the lesser evil and commit to fixing it in the next iteration?

I explained that leadership often requires balancing principles with business needs. I would evaluate the risks of each option, communicate transparently with the team and stakeholders, and if releasing was unavoidable, I would document the issue, choose the lesser risk, and make it a clear priority to fix in the next release
