Called by a consultant who set up the interview with the hiring team. The team consisted of two women. It was a straightforward process probably because of the involvement of the consultant. The two interviewers came completely unprepared for the interview. Not at all professional. A simple glance at the resume would tell them that my background was from a different but an equally relevant industry. They kept saying we want someone from 'our industry'. Did not let me finish any of the answers and were done in less than 10 minutes. The interview was scripted with one woman making faces while I was speaking while the other just kept looking away from the computer (no she did not have another screen). I did get an impression that they were extremely biased and yes, there was bias against POC. It was evident from some of the statements that were made during the interview.
