I created a candidate profile on intel.com/jobs in October 2010. I was not actively looking for work so was not bothered when they did not contact me. Then in December I received an email notifying me that I had been matched to a job and to apply if I was interested which I did. The next day I got an email notifying me that I had been selected for a phone interview and a link to schedule the phone interview which I did. Staffing called me at the scheduled time and the interview lasted about 15 minutes. It was mostly verifying what was on my resume and questions about my background. There was a few technical questions but nothing too hard. Was contacted the day after phone interview and asked to schedule an in person interview which I did. Interview started at 1 pm and took all afternoon. There was 2 panels of 3 engineers each and a 1:1 with the group lead. Lots of technical , behavioral and safety questions. The atmosphere was friendly, professional but It lasted way too long. I did not expect it to last that long and did not get lunch in before going to interview.
