Interview question #2 Why haven’t you finished your degree?
Sigiloso
I was caught off guard by the question, which I was barely allowed to answer. I was able to get out that there I’d had to stop to address family issues, and I was cut off after that. Had I been allowed to continue, I could have clarified that these were issues which involved addressing family members with disabilities, and that delays had also been caused by lack of health insurance during emergencies which created financial challenges. It’s disappointing that CLO’s representative was so closed to any answer which did not match whatever preconceived judgements she wrote down while showing the one (slight) smile I saw during the entire interview process.
