I was asked to interview very quickly after submitting my application, however wasn't given any other details apart from the time (no name of the person interviewing or even how many people would interview me.) It was a very formal and structured interview for a position that is probably on one of the lowest rungs. There were 3 people interviewing me and the questions were very indepth about my previous posts and what I wanted for my future. Salary was never discussed and after hearing from the company a couple of days after the interview, I had to eventually ask what the salary was to see if it was enough to allow me to organise childcare for my youngest (she was only 1 at the time!) I remember calling my husband afterwards and telling him I would be amazed if they offered me a job because it was such an intense interview! I was incredibly proud of myself that a school considered 'Outstanding' in Dubai offered me a job!
