Interviewed once in 2019 and again this month. Both experiences were terrible. In 2019, I was invited to do an onsite interview but the recruiter didn't tell me the day they wanted me there, until less than 24 hours before. I mentioned I couldn't make it, and then rescheduled it for after christmas. Was told a day before from the reschuleded interview that they wanted to switch directions and would refund me for my hotel.
2022 interviewed again, was invited for HR screen. HR was 15 minutes late, and came with bad excuses. Told there would be no compromise about hybrid work policies.
Both times I encountered unemphatic, late, and rude HR representatives. If it is this bad to potential candidates , how can they possible expect us to feel good about working with them or for them?
