At the time of my interview, it was a two-step process. The first step focused on HR stuff to check if I was mentally and emotionally prepared for that job I think;) and then a second step focused on technical skills. It was a test, some questions were obvious some more complicated, writing a pseudo code to sort a table, what to consider when implementing a new button etc. During that test at some point, my interviewers started to talk about various stuff like I'm not there ;) that was entirely unexpected but I was able to finish successfully. The reason was to simply see how easily I can be distracted. My overall experience was great.
