I was referred through an attorney that had done business with Kinetics and, after seeing my resume, one of their forensics and recovery partners arranged a telephone interview with me. The firm was in the process of digesting two big mandates and needed additional expertise in the New York and Cayman island practices. The New York office seemed to be a bit in flux with the Caymans practice driving the forensic and asset recovery sectors.
