I applied through LinkedIn and a week later received an email telling me that I had been shortlisted. I then needed to fill out a form, answering some questions about why I was interested in the job, etc. Around a week after that, I received another email telling me that I had made it to the final 11 candidates and needed to complete a few short tasks. I completed the tasks and was then invited to interview. Following the interview, I never heard back. It has been over a month and I've now accepted another (better) role. If this company wants to put people through such a long process involving tasks, etc., they should really have the decency to actually offer a proper rejection to candidates rather than just ghosting.
