First stage was a phone interview, which went perfectly. Second stage was a Zoom interview with the same person plus one more, which went perfectly. The final stage involved travelling to their head office from London to Nottingham to deliver a presentation and more questions. The previous two employees were present, as well as a one who was only present for the presentation, and one other who was present via a laptop. Rejection on the grounds of "Cultural Fit". There was no further elaboration apart from saying everything went perfectly. Furthermore, they took two and a half months to reimburse me travel expenses, with no communication, let alone an apology. The entire process lasted way too long, with two months in-between stages. The feedback from the final stage interview was ridiculous. Chasing up indirectly on a weekly status to get expenses back should not have been necessary. Direct inquiry meant expenses were reimbursed the next day. Unbelievably unprofessional. They turned what would have been a dream role into a nightmare.
