Phone screening with recruiter Oriel. Completed a 1-hour TestGorilla assignment involving React, Node.js, Next.js, and a Leetcode-style question (#121 Best Time to Buy and Sell Stock). After submitting the assignment, I was completely ghosted. No feedback, no follow-up call, not even a rejection email. I followed up twice with polite emails—no response. Ghosting candidates after they invest time and effort is unprofessional and disrespectful. Companies should do better.
