I had two phone interviews with the department head in Fort Worth and a HR person before I accepted a job elsewhere. The calls were about 30 minutes each and the questions were basically assessments of my personality and how I would handle situations. I would brush up on basic principles in your field and the latest best practices. I was told there were candidates more qualified than me but they liked my can-do, willing to learn personality and the fact that I could apply the principles I've learned to real-world situations.

Thorough, structured interview. Fair questions asked, and interviewers were more than open to sharing information about the role and organization. Responses to questions were in STAR format (Situation Task Action Result).
