You must take a series of editing tests, an initial screening test followed by a more extensive editing test. All of this communication takes place over email, so there is no in-person or phone interview.
There were two rounds of interview, one over video call with HR and the department head who lives abroad and one in the Singapore office. It was otherwise a fairly standard interview, not too probing or uncomfortable.

editing test came with decent instructions and got an interview offer about two weeks after. Overall application process took a month and was able to connect with experienced editors on linkedin for advice.
