They have a new system. It took weeks to get the job, because they didn’t know what they were doing. You also never actually talked to anyone. It was all online. It made the interviewing process difficult.

After application, I received an email inviting me for an in person interview. My first interview was with a manager in a different department (Jewelry...did not know much about makeup). Asked basic interview questions. Then I had an interview with the store manager who basically asked slightly more in depth questions but it was really layed back. Then I had a final interview at a different location with someone from Lancome (a higher up position, can't remember his title). I did not get the job.

I dressed in formal attire and wore all black with red. (when working for macy's one is allowed to wear one small color item and have all an black appearance) The interview was 30minutes to 1 hour and I was interviewed by the department manager. My interview went great and I was offered a job. From there I had a phone interview with the higher up Lancome employee (my bosses boss) and then a Skype interview with my future boss for the Lancome CM position. I was hired within 3 days.
