Went through a recruiter. Had two phone interviews with people other than a hiring manager and met with with another potential colleague for coffee. Received positive feedback during these conversations and from the recruiter. During the one and only phone conversation with the hiring manager, had a very difficult time hearing her. Had to ask her to repeat herself several times...and still couldn't understand her questions. She told me I was better suited for an entry-level position (despite exceeding the 3-5 years experience on the job posting). Sent her a follow-up e-mail with some more information on my background and never heard back. Bummer.
