Typical interview, however I was asked about college I did not finish 10 years ago( experiences, what I liked about the school etc). One of the panel member asked “ who was your favorite professor and can we reach out for a reference”? If i explained I did poorly and did not finish why would you reach out for a reference?…… Why not inquire about a professor from the school i did complete… Like all staffing agencies turnover is high and the culture is toxic. Both members bragged about graduating from prestigious universities but work 10+ hours at a high stress job… Due to a recent layoff I was desperate for a paycheck luckily that afternoon I received an offer. My advice as a sales professional steer clear of this culture and business. Many more lucrative low level stress jobs such as territory management or account executive positions. If the company was really great they would not always be looking to “ fill seats”.
