This was the strangest interview ever. I met with three senior IT executives that had no concept of purchasing. The person this position reports to stammered his way through the questions and had no answers for the simple questions I'd asked...why is position vacant? what are the immediate and long range goals? Are savings measured? What are the targets for cost reduction? One of them said "are you the good cop or bad cop?" and that was about it. Hmmm.
