The team manager contacted me by linked in, asking me to send her my CV if I was interested.
After I did, I received a mail from a recruiter telling me that they wanted to schedule a phone call with the team leader, and we scheduled for the next week. She was very nice and explained what to expect in the phone call (some SQL problems) and sent me links to videos about how to prepare for an interview.
When the team leader called, we talked for about 45 minutes, she asked some questions about my experience, asked me some SQL exercises to solve in a collaborative document, and she asked me some high-level anlaytics and data structure questions.
After a few days I received an email from the recruiter explaining me the rest of teh process, I needed to get to the office and have 5 or 6 interviews of 30 minutes each, some anlaytical and statistical and some more technical (SQL, ETL)
When I got there some of the interviews were more difficult than other but nothing extremely difficult, all interviewers where very friendly.
After a few weeks I was contacted by the recruiter to tell me that I have passed and they need to do some due diligence. I needed to send them my university degree and telephone of people I worked with to get recommendations.
A few weeks later she called to give an offer, which I accepted but she told me I still need to wait for some higher management approval, and it took especially long because it was December and a lot of people were on holidays.
All the process took around 3.5-4 months.
