My first contact was a higher up who seemed very professional, thorough, and answered all of my questions. She needed a few more references than on my resume and indicated that I'd receive follow up Monday or Tuesday from a local contract. I didn't get any contact and reached back out to her in case is missed anything. Almost immediately I got outreach for my second interview at the end of the week. Unfortunately that interview never occurred as the local hiring contact indicated they had filled the position without going through all applicants. If they were planning on sometime to hire already, as indicated by the ignoring others and speeding through the process for another, I'm not sure why they posted the job as hiring in the first place. Not that they made it easy, since Indeed keep giving an error message so I just went to the main website to apply directly. Not the most professional application process. Even ghosting applicants is better than telling them they have an interview only to cancel on them.
