I met with the woman I would have reported to and her boss. We discussed the need that they had and how my prior experience might fit the need. The direct boss was concerned with how quickly I could get up to speed. Her boss was more concerned with me being a good fit for the organization. I also met with two people who were currently in the role so that they could give me an idea about how the organization worked as I had not previously worked in a CPA firm.
