Met with the president, the chief designer, and the e-commerce manager all at the same time. Had a conversation about the role, what they were looking for, my background, etc. They decided to move forward and offer me the role, but after asking for a little more money, they rescinded the offer due to the fact that I asked for more money and they felt I didn't have any experience in that area. However, I had the experience. This left a bad taste in my mouth, but I really wanted this role and felt there was a lot of opportunity at a company like this. I tried to negotiate that I would take the lower salary, and a week later they re-offered me the position. At that point I had a couple of days till their start date and asked to push it back so that I could finish other projects I was working on. They ended up rescinded the offer again and giving it to an employee with their company outside the US.
