I spoke about last year when my brother was diagnosed with epilepsy. I was having a difficult time balancing my work, school, and family life. I skipped out on some assignments in order to spend more time with my family. I was able to make up the assignments after reaching out to my professors, but I regret that I chose to miss the assignments to begin with.
