Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Napo (Londres, Inglaterra) em ago. de 2023
Entrevista
The process consists of 5 stages: - Recruiter screening call - Simple take home FastAPI Tech test (about 3 hours) - Sys Design - Product sense - Culture fit Initially spoke to a recruiter, they were friendly and really speedy with comms. I was promptly moved forward to the take home round. I was then put through to next stage which is the system design interview. Due to time constraints on my side with pending offers I asked for the process to be expedited which was all handled brilliantly and fast, with this I ended up having the "product sense" interview first. This is an interview with two product managers, you're given a problem statement and asked to talk through it. This is where I fell short, it was hard to gauge what was expected here as you're not given much to go on and it seems like they're looking for you to answer in a formulaic way and reach a solution. From feedback I'm still unsure what was expected. However both interviewers were lovely throughout, it just lacked structure. I think you may do well if you read up on product sense interviews and have a framework for the interview beforehand. I was promptly rejected with limited feedback after this interview even before the "normal" sys design technical which is slightly weird given the tech task time commitment, but it seems they put strong emphasis on product at Napo. All in all, very quick, friendly and flexible process!

Initial chat, discussion of CV and experience. Then invited to submit a take home assessment. Spent a few hours on this, turning it around quickly over a weekend at the request of the recruiter. No acknowledgement of receipt of the test submission and never accepted the invitation to the GitHub repository that I was requested me to add Napo to. Eventually after a lot of chasing up with the recruitment agency and then contacting the company directly, it turned out they had reviewed the backup zip file they requested, and they subsequently provided some feedback based on that. Frustrating and time-consuming process, but they did at least eventually review the test and provide feedback, so credit to them for doing that.
