Went through an Aptitude Assessment, Coding Assessment, and then got invited for 2 interviews. The interviewer did not show up for the first one, the second one was a BQ focused round. After that, got told that they decided to move the role to Spain, so would not continue with UK applications.

AVOID This company is plagued with cooperate jargon and elitism - everything on paper with no real basis. They look for things that have no testament to actual ability. Pseudo code questions that are ridiculously stupid and interview questions from CEO are essentially pointless. CEO proudly says 'I've never written a line of code' yet thinks he can lead a software company. Only hires from Oxbridge, Russel group and Newcastle. This is basically the issue that I felt came across strongly from the interviews. You can't put take on-paper accredited professionals in a room and expect greatness, every engineer knows this, but this company, or rather the CEO takes this as his mantra. A company that doesn't really know how to effectively create software that will pat themselves on the back for meaningless accomplishments. 1 - Apply, then get asked to provide details via email that were already provided in application. 2. Follow-up email asking for grades during school 2 - Invited to do coding test (leetcode medium) 3 - Invited to do aptitude test live on a teams call (not too hard) 4 - 30-min interview with CEO. Was a nice guy, but the issues described above stand. 5 - Interview with a software engineer. Really arrogant, disrespectful and rude. Joins from his phone and constantly looks around him when I'm talking. Asks one pseudo coding question verbally that has no real world basis. 5. Ghosted for 1 week then told not successful due to 'gaps in technical expertise' (makes a lot of sense LOL)
