I applied through LinkedIn. Got contacted by HR Ashwini a few days later. HR is really polite and accomodative of requests. 2 out of 3 rounds got delayed due to unavailability of panel. 1st round was with Product person. It went well. Asked most of the basic questions expected from a normal product interview. 2nd round was with Mr. Ravi who also is the Director of Analytics. He made me comfortable and listened to my answers pretty patiently. 3rd round was with Mr. Prakhar from analytics team. This round involved questions around metrics, basic understanding of tech and structured approach towards any problem. Now here comes the main part. The final round with the CTO himself. First of all why on earth does he think a candidate interviewing for Product role should have experience in software development? I mean yes as a PM you should know how to communicate to engineering team and know working behind software but I was assured in the previous rounds that it's not expected of a fresher candidate to have that much experience. Basic understanding will suffice. I felt the CTO Mr. Prashant to be very rude towards a fresher candidate. And why does he feel every person in tech field should have IT/CS degree. Really disappointed with him. He took the interview for 15 minutes and gave his imbecile assessment of mine which I think is worst..since it's not the first time I am giving a product interview. Most of the other reviews also mention about CTO's attitude.
