They want the best of the best with respect to education in experience but they will not pay you for your education OR your time. You are expected to work overtime and classified as exempt when you are NOT, as you have no say in policy that is made, so they are thieves with respect to not paying overtime. They micromanage the heck out of their counselors, so much that they forget to do their own jobs and the directors past and present have been and are ill-equipped for such a position (former volunteers, former advocates, etc). A few people employed there with little to no skills and even fewer options. IT person who knows nothing. Additionally, the director is too cozy with the board, ensuring that the director will never lose her job.
