I was contacted by the department manager for a quick 15 minute semi-informal conversation. She asked basic questions such as "Tell me a little bit about yourself". At the end of that conversation she set up a time for me to come to a group interview session. The group interview session started out with a presentation. We were introduced to each Department Manager and were told their background with the company. Then the Store Manager gave us an overview of the store and what they are looking for. Then you had the chance to interview with two Department Managers based on your interests. The interviews were about 20 minutes long and consisted of very typical retail interview quiestions. For example, "Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer" and "What motivates you to succeed?".
