Was contacted by phone from the HR Manager after filling out an online application complete with resume and a personality test. My interview with the HR Manager was comfortable she asked me about my past experiences and work history. The obvious theme of the questions and interview was customer service since Nordstrom has a great reputation for customer service.
After the interview with HR I then received a phone call to schedule an interview with the department manager. Again the theme was customer service and my game plan to achieve my goals, which includes more than just showing up to that job and waiting for people to walk through the door.

Entrevista
Very standardized interview with the department manager, all behavioral questions, was a little repetitive. Only one interview round. Make sure to ask about commission payout because it differs by department.

Very simple, just an online interview followed by in-person. Asked about past experience and situational questions dealing with customers. Nothing too hard but always remain customer-oriented. Got my offer the following day and started the following week.

Straightforward questions but will ask a lot of scenario questions! No need to be intimidated just be yourself and be truthful when answering questions. They want to see if you’re a good fit not only for sales but for the company and their values.
