Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Northrop Grumman (Oklahoma City, OK) em out. de 2017
Entrevista
The interview was informal and conversational -- not a skills assessment. The tone was pleasant. There were two interviewers. One was the supervisor or second-level supervisor for the position, and the other was a supervisor software engineer, but not in the same chain of command.
At the time I had the interview, they had not stooped to "Behavioral Based Interviews", and that was very nice. I've never been particularly adept at lying, so I really suck at BBI.
What made the interview negative for me was that during the course of the interview, I came to realize that Northrup wasn't interested in innovative thinkers that make things happen. No, they just wanted someone who would mindlessly follow the DOD's software maturity model and generate mountains of paperwork -- all of which they could charge a fortune for.
As they asked me about past accomplishments, the only thing the second interviewer could focus on was "Who tasked you?", and "What was the formal process for tasking you?", and other questions that were obviously straight from the Software Maturity Model nonsense. That interviewer left disgusted with my answers, and I left realizing that even if they offered me the job, I couldn't have taken it.

What was your employer's formal method for tasking you.
They contacted me for an in person interview and then asked me leet code style questions. After the interview I heard back from a recruiter who set up another phone call with me

Very poorly conducted and rushed interview process. The team seemed to contradict themselves in their perception of the duties required for the job, in addition to their perception of my experience and qualifications. One senior member of the team seemed to have not read my resume at all in advance for the interview, only reading it during the interview, and then sarcastically and condescendingly asked why it seemed like I had "nothing on the resume that seems applicable to the position". At that point, the interview went from conversational to interrogational, and additional members of the team continued to condescend and ask questions irrelevant to my experience that were apparently relevant to the job description, that had been left out of the official job requisition. Overall, it was a complete mismatch in expectations due, in my perspective, to poor communication and organization amongst the team at Northrop Grumman, and ended up being a complete waste of time for me. I would not recommend working with this team and am not interested in interviewing for further positions at Northrop Grumman.

Technical questions and behavioral questions (STAR formatting) with the normal what draws you to work for us. Microsoft Teams meeting with a panel to review answers. Took roughly 1 hour and it was a very straightforward and easily made process.
