A really disappointing interview process. There were 8 rounds of interviews in total, requiring me to invest ~16 hours of my personal time in the interviews (including travel), not counting the weeks that went into preparation due to the length of the overall process. Many questions were repeats of one another, clearly indicating that the interviewers hadn't spoken to one another or taken the time to review feedback. At the end, it was a decline with a simple -- "It's a decline. We can't say why" call from the recruiter. At the very least, out of respect for the time that had gone into the process, I'd have expected pointers on why there wasn't a fit. The process itself took ~6 weeks.
