- Half day on-site interview:
- Chat with the head of software engineering
- White boarding exercise with two developers. Those were general questions on technical stuff plus questions to assess my knowledge of Java and frameworks such as Spring
- Chat with a Product Manager. This aims to understand how engineers address pressure to deliver and discussion with the Product Team. Also a good moment to talk about the product. This is something we rarely see in interviews and I think it is a great idea.

Then the interviewer pushes you a bit by saying that the business refuses to extend your deadline etc.

Screen call with internal recruiter for 15 minutes. Screen call with two developers for an hour on Zoom just talking about the job. Probably the most bizarre interview of my life as they didn’t really describe the job, seemed to not understand the complexity of certain tasks they were planning, saying that their decisions were made by an architecture team and not themselves, while not describing any of the projects that would be worked on, not the skills required for them. They tended to belittle me and left 5 minutes to ask any questions. Gave strange feedback as my experience was very relevant to the role so can only presume some bias towards me personally as I don’t see any other reason, seeing as the tech stack and job spec requirements were covered. Feel I dodged a bullet at least. Recommend to put the interviewers through training.

Recruiter call 15 mins. Then 1 hr interview with 2 developer. Experience overview and q&a technical questions. And one of the interviewer keeps challenging you with not much sense. I believe there will be take home task if you get through

Unprofessional they do not respect their candidates. They left me waiting for 30 mins without showing to the interview. I sent an email to two recruiters and after 30 mins they mention that I am rejected and that the will not complete the process.

first round was about what I did before it was fun with 2 professionals engineers and I did really well. Second round was with 2 engineers about implementing an acyclic graph. I started the implementation they asked me to do the tests. At the beginning I asked if I should go TDD or is it okay to implement first. They said it is ur call. later they said I should have started with the tests and bye. I waited for a room for the second interview but then after 30 mins the recruiter calls to say that I am rejected. Which was very rude to leave me wait for 30 mins with no one showing.
