A few days after applying I received an invitation for a phone interview. The HR rep was friendly and scheduled a call with the Value Stream Manager (hiring manager). The manager asked about my background but was quickly dismissive of my achievements at previous jobs. Even though I had the results of high performance, I was “only 3 years out of college” (excuse me?) She preferred to ask outdated interview questions about work ethic, rather than allowing me to talk about my relevant skills, projects, and achievements. I was cut off frequently and was told any questions I had are answered in the job description (then why would we be on the call in the first place?) Overall an unprofessional experience. I immediately apologized for misunderstanding the candidate they were looking for and kindly removed myself from consideration. While I’m sure there are great people at this company, her tone conveyed this wasn’t the culture where I would feel valued.

A recruiter contacted me, the process took 3 months. I had around 12 interviews with them, which includes 3 onsite interviews, I still have not received any updates on my compensation for my travel or if I got the position or not.
