Ok for background check and drug screen?

Yup no problem. Explained what they would find on the background (misdemeanor and a ticket). Explained to HR and or Legal with facts about what happened and why, and how it was totally unrelated to my job. Didn’t matter. But again, very polite when they told me “they went with someone else”. Then the jobs listed again the next day. Sigh. Discrimination is against the law.
