Ans: Devices & Printers-Add a Printer-Select 'Standard TCP/IP port' under the local port; if TCP/IP option is not available, then go to 'New port' & select Standard tcp/ip option. In next window, provide the ip address of the network printer. If the box besides 'query automatically for printer' is checked, then driver will be taken automatically or else we have to provide driver path in next window. Then click next & wait until installation completes,then click finish. For scanner configuration, an option will be available as 'HP scan' under HP folder in all program menu. By creating its shortcut on desktop & using this option, documents can be scanned. For other advanced printers like Ricoh Afficio 40xx series & HP Laserjet 50xx series, scan folder needs to be created in user desktop (other than the os installed drive). user authentication & scan authentication must be provided for that folder and user profile needs to configured under the digital sending in printer settings.
