In retrospect, the team interview appeared to be a fake formality rather than a genuine evaluation. I became suspicious during the interview because the process did not seem objective. It appeared that the team had already decided to hire a friend of Julia T soi, and that is ultimately what happened.
If the intention was to hire a friend or someone with a personal connection, the company should not have invited other candidates to interview and invest their time. I did not expect this kind of apparent conflict of interest from a publicly listed company like Opera Software, where I would expect hiring decisions to follow fair, transparent, and compliant recruitment practices.
