The hiring process was fairly straight forward and expanded into increasingly difficult scenarios that included: an initial phone screen, a technical phone screen, an afternoon onsite with the company (technical and cultural fit) and time with the team (another cultural test). The white-boarding sessions were fairly intense with quite a bit of discussion about best approaches even amongst the team which exposed some interesting personalities and differences on architectural approaches. The onsite took a better part of the afternoon and beyond the session with the dev team also included time with other departments. The company recruiter did an excellent job and made sure I knew what to expect throughout the process.
