Interview process was pretty straightforward, which included an HR talk with the engineering manager. Afterwards there was a technical interview where I was given a GitHub repo with sample code and after a few days I was expected to "onboard" two senior devs as if they're new members of the team. Then we had a problem solving part where the "platform" had a specific bug and how we would investigate it and fix it. After that there were couple of more technical questions and that was it; things like sessions, security, JOOQ usage etc. All in all it was pretty quick. Here comes the bad thing - after getting the offer and signing the contract, 7 days before start (which was supposed to be Feb 1st), I got an email saying they will not be proceeding with me after all, and that they picked another "better fit" candidate. This was literally after my side of the contract was signed. Highly unprofessional.
