Q: How have you handled a difficult customer in the past?

A: First, I listened to everything the upset customer had to say. Secondly, I empathized with them on their frustration and ensured them that I would take ownership on getting the issue resolved. Lastly, after quickly analyzing the situation, I presented the best course of action to remedy the issue and asked the customer if it was okay to precede, assuring them that I would stay with the issue until resolved and follow up in a timely manner.
