Q: "No one gets this right. How do you gain access to an EC2 instance when SSH is down?"

A: I answered AWS Session Manager and was asked "HOW DOES IT CONNECT?" and I said "I imagine a proprietary protocol? I've never used it. SSH never has gone down for me." He said "IT'S SSN." All search results pointed to AWS Session Manager. When you type "SSN" into the AWS Console, Session Manager comes up, so I don't know why this wasn't a valid answer.
