this was one question that had less than little to do with what I would be doing. But hey, I did take apart a whole bunch of things when I was a kid. So I drew the diagram and explained how it worked. Prior to drawing it and describing how it works, I took a minute scratching my head trying to recall what it was. When I was done (and I drew the right diagram, and explained it well) the manager and his 'right hand' looked at each other and asked whether or not it makes sense to keep interviewing me, given that I'm so slow. At that point I decided not to work for them no matter what. Later on they said that most people get this question wrong and that they wanted to see how I work under pressure. I don't mind working under pressure. But I don't want to work with XXX-holes. So I let their offer rot in my shredder.
