Relate back to circumstances when one has experienced a situation in which the required competency was demonstrated. Interviewees must use the STAR model to answer questions - Situation, Task, Action, Result (outline the situation, explain what the task required was, what action did you take and what was the final outcome). Note that not all situations have to end in a positive result, the result may not have been correct but demonstrating this can show that the candidate is able to take learnings from a negative situation.
