Queue implementation ( data structure ). The person was basically confused about his question, His requirements were changing and not clear enough of what he really wants unless you bug him to know what he wants. Heavy accent.

The interviewer does not understand STL, will probably change his question frequently if you use deque. If you use pointers , he will ask you to change to const pointer implementation, then change to question to circular queue. The interviewer expects only 1 answer that he wishes to hear from you and is not open to hearing any other viable ideas.
