Recruiter called me late in the afternoon, talked about my background for a bit and immediately asked screening questions. What she should have done was ask if I was available to speak for a few minutes rather than jump straight into a phone interview. I asked her if it would be better to talk in 30 minutes, and she said the office would be closed before then. That right there was a red flag to me. Why are you phoning screen applicants minutes before your shift ends? I then asked her if the day after would be suitable, and she said it would and she would call me back. Obviously from her tone and manner, I'm not surprised I never got a call back. It's one thing to work in a fast paced environment; it's another when you're unprofessional in that very same environment. What I can say is that if this is the way the company goes about screening applicants, then I do not want to work there. I am not going to show initiative and call back a company that was ambushing me and then moves on with the applicant list after I ask to reschedule when calling in an inconvenient time.

I had to take a personality assessment that didn't seem to mean anything at all as they did not look or talk about it at all. Then a man came in and basically tried to scare me away by telling me how little of money I will be making in the first year. Rather than telling me how much I would learn from the sales experience they rather told me all the bad parts and how hard the position is. Not what I was looking for coming out of college. They didn't seem to close the interview at all either. I was just given a business card and told to think about it and call back
