Interviewed with the Litigation team. The process was a 45-minute case study centred on a shareholders' dispute. The interviewers were engaged and gave me room to provide my views on the case study. The interview was intended to test your legal reasoning and ability to think with clear head under pressure.

I had a rather negative experience during the interview process. I was required to wait for approximately an hour beyond the scheduled appointment time. During the interview, when I attempted to share my experiences, I felt that the associate was somewhat disengaged and not particularly receptive. At times, they appeared to be focused on their phone or laptop while I was answering questions, which gave the impression that they were not fully attentive. This made the interaction feel uncomfortable. They also repeatedly emphasised how busy the department is, which came across as somewhat discouraging. Candidates should also be prepared for a legal knowledge assessment, as the process includes a written test followed by an explanation of your answers.
