Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Reframe (GA) (Portland, OR) em out. de 2023
Entrevista
The interview process went smoothly until the end. However, the position was listed as remote, and in the final interview I was told I would need to move to Georgia.
Simple phone call where the interviewer explained the position and asked some questions about my background. However, once we got to the end of the phone call, she explained that everyone there regularly works 50+ hours per week, and that's kind of an expectation of the position. Once I explained that I value work-life balance and would want to stick around 40 hours per week, it pretty much ended the interview. It appeared as if the position involved pushing out as much content as possible in the shortest amount of time as possible. The quality of the content might've been a factor, but not really the most important factor. It really just seemed to be about volume and felt a little content mill-y, for all you writers out there. For being a brand built around mental health, ReFrame does not seem to value their employees' mental health whatsoever. I was very surprised and noticed several red flags as the interview went on. And after seeing the other reviews here on Glassdoor, I know my intuition wasn't wrong. Perhaps they will be better to work for in the future, but for now I would urge every content writer/editor to really consider if this is the type of work they want to be doing.

Pergunta 1
Are you willing to work 50+ hours per week most weeks?
The interview process was extremely quick and straightforward. They were upfront about what it would be like to work there. Didn't ask that many questions and they got straight to the point. Left me time to ask questions. Typical interview, but faster than I expected.
