Applied online through the Rogers career portal and sent a copy to the station manager. Got directly in touch with the station manager through a followup. They were slow getting back to me but I managed to get an interview one month from my application date. Met him in person for a 1:1 interview at the community television station up in Barrie. Mostly talked shop, and asked about my experience with sports shoots and broadcast equipment. Person doing the interview was very professional, had first hand knowledge about the role, and was easy to talk to.
