Their website states they won't contact you initially if you are not selected for an interview. I applied online in January; about 10 days later I was contacted for a phone interview. I spoke with a person I could barely hear for about 30 min who talked about the job duties and why I opted to apply to Root. I was then advised that the job start date advertised was moved back to March - not an issue for me. About a week after that, I had a Google meeting with 2 managers; we were scheduled for a hour, but because I was able to describe the job duties, we talked for about 20 minutes. They asked general question as outlined below. I was told at the end of the interview, I would hear back regarding the next steps. It is now 2.5 weeks later and I have not heard anything from Root and there is no way to check the status of your application on their website.
