Very positive. Open and frequent communication with the hiring manager and HR. Never felt I was out of the loop as to what was going on, and my inquiries were responded to in a timely manner. HR reached out to me to schedule the initial panel interview within days of applying online. Throughout the process they were very clear about timelines, and as an applicant this means a lot. It takes only a minute to send an email with a timeline update, and that effort goes a long way to engaging the candidates and making them want to work for Scotia.

Really friendly call with someone from HR. Nothing too complex but they have a keen interest on key accomplishments and team work. They will get back to you with an update making you feel optimistic, but then a generic decline letter is provided several weeks later.

The entire procedure is remarkably swift, taking a mere two weeks from the initial stage all the way to the final completion. You can expect a rapid turnaround, where every step in the process unfolds efficiently and effectively within this short timeframe

Interviewer was kind, asked some tough questions, but I think he had a specific candidate in mind. The issue was more that he specifically said, "We don't like to leave candidates hanging, so you'll hear from us soon."
That's fine - but HR never followed up, and despite my reaching out, twice, to the personal email of the HR professional managing this, she never responded. Just very unprofessional - people commit time and energy to interviews. If it's a no, you should communicate that.
