This process involved an online application containing questions regarding the applicants recent successes both professionally and academically. It also required the submission of a CV. After this, a telephone interview is arranged. This was a competency-based interview with a few technical questions about power engineering (the UK's electrical grid structure, power losses in transmission lines etc.).
