I emigrated from South Africa on the eve of the Millennium (31 Dec 1999) as the world prepared for computers etc. to shutdown as a result of the "Millennium Bug." We were one of approx. 50 travellers on a Boeing 747. The most comfortable flight experience ever! And champagne as we rang in the 2000's whilst flying over Chad.
